AP Marine Surveys is an independent practice owned and operated by Alan Plummer. An Accredited Member of the YDSA (Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association) and full member BMSE (British Marine Surveyors Europe). Based in South Devon in the South West of England and covering Cornwall, Dorset, the South Coast, Channel Islands, UK, Europe and the Caribbean.
Having over 30 years associated experience within the marine industry, starting initially by specialising in high powered sports boats, commercial craft and inflatable RIB’s. Developing over the years through many different types of motor powered vessels and inevitably into sailing yachts too.
With ownership of countless motor & sailing craft over many years he has a clear insight into what the leisure user in particular requires from their surveyor. With a realistic view on budget constraints, balanced by serviceability and most of all, safety.
